TUD has 1950 full-time students in its BSc and MSc program and 68 PhD candidates, with a focus on engineering and applied sciences. The Industrial Design Engineering Faculty is among the largest university design programmes in the world. It is rated as amongst the ‘best design schools in the world’ by Bloomberg Business week. The faculty has an integrative vision on product design. Its concern is to study, innovate and improve the development of durable products and their related services, on the basis of the balanced interests of users, industry, society and environment.
Role in the project
TUD is leading the Design for Multiple Lifecycles work package. TUD is supporting Requirement Analysis and Framework Definition, and the Supply Chains and Business Models for Multiple Lifecycles work packages. Additionally, it is supporting on the collaborative software platform and the industrial pilot evaluation (in particular the Bugaboo and Loewe pilots). Additionally, TUD will contribute to scientific dissemination activities.
